Here's the website address.... http://www.orsettcf.org.uk/
not much to show at the moment but with any luck we'll have some minutes and meeting dates to publish soon!

Nice Site Matt, well laid out, user friendly.

Lets hope that this "Orsett Community Forum" site is the precursor to informing the residents of the Forum's activities, allowing them to contribute and participate.
I hope so.

I cant take any credit for the site layout... it was preconfigured by 'ngage' - these people are a nice bunch who support the community forums in thurrock.

Anyhow the community forum website will be updated with the minutes from previous meetings, agenda for next meetings (and include an online agenda additions form for those who cant make the meeting but would like to contribute)... and a page detailing open/resolved issues. There is yet much to be discussed so I dont know the entire content but i think that'll do for starters... I'm sure what ever we do it will be tightly bound with this BB

However, as with every community forum it wont exist without the support of the local community... So I'm expecting a good turn out at the next community forum meeting - when the dates get published!

Regards,
Matt

I have added a link to the website to the Community Links section at the bottom of the page. I have also made this topic sticky, so it remains at the top of the section.

Its good to see the site and a very good choice iro picture of fire station - this way it covers all of Orsett without offence to those in other areas not just those in the village.
well done Matt and thanks.
Anjie
PS could other forms be added such as request/bid for forum funding?

Anjie,

My personal view> while i'd love to have such forms on the website there's a certain amount of human support the forum needs - Furthermore if someone wants to apply for community funding I think they should at least attend a meeting or two, rather than apply via a website and never attend a meeting - where's the community in that?

However, all ideas will be put forward to the Committee !

As your probably aware the new forum is in its infancy and there are many things to discuss... watch this space!

Keep all ideas flowing

Matt
